Roma eyeing Chiesa at a reduced price after Euros

Roma are still exploring the possibility of a deal with Juventus for Italy winger Federico Chiesa. Who is likely to see his asking price drop after his disappointing Euro 2024 campaign.

Chiesa has 12 months remaining on his Juventus contract and if he does not sign a new deal in Turin. He is expected to be allowed to leave this summer UFABET

An extension of Chiesa’s current deal looks unlikely at the moment. So Juve are looking to cash in on him rather than lose him for free next year.

Juve are hoping to get €35-40m for the sale of Chiesa. But Tuttosport reports that figure could drop by €10m to just €25-30m after his disappointing Euro 2024 campaign.

Juventus could help their balance sheet if they let Chiesa leave for €30m. As they will no longer have to worry about his high wage demands.

Roma are reportedly interest in signing Chiesa to partner Paulo Dybala as part of a restructuring of their attacking options. With Romelu Lukaku and Sadar Azmoun both having left on loan. While Andrea Belotti has also been sold.

Roma have already held talks with Chiesa’s agent twice to discuss a possible move to the capital.
